Sadie Candelario

Sadie is the Executive Director of Kids Christian Academy and has worked in childcare and with children for over thirty years. She has an Associates of Arts Degree in Child Development from Interamerican University in Puerto Rico, has also graduated from the Miami Dade Community College with over 500 hours of Early Childcare Training, working with the VPK Standards curriculum and Links to Literacy curriculum. Sadie loves working with children and believes each child is unique and deserves the best foundation in their early years of life, as this is very important in their development into adulthood. Her commitment as firstly a parent and the Executive Director, to the parents that have and will continue to bring children here, is to provide a safe, clean, and superior quality educational program based on each individual child’s needs.

Carol Dieudonne

Carol is a native Floridian and joined Kids Christian Academy from inception. She is part of the management team and is also the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten VPK teacher. Carol obtained an Associates of Arts from Miami Dade College, a Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix and also has the Child Development Associate credential. According to her, she decided to make early learning her life’s work, as she has a strong belief that a child’s education is the most valuable thing in the world. She is quoted as saying, “Knowledge is power and I recognize that the earlier it begins the better for the child. I love teaching VPK because it allows me to see the joy on a child’s face when they learn something new, when they build lasting friendships, and I witness them explore the world and tap into their creativity. To me the most amazing thing is to see or hear one of my students apply the skills that I have taught them.” When she is not at Kids Christian Academy, she enjoys spending time with her family, attending church, reading a good book, listening to music and dancing.
